Pay-per-click which is widely known as PPC, also called cost per click (CPC), is an internet advertising model which is used for direct traffic to websites. In PPC advertiser pays a publisher depending upon the clicks of ad. To get traffic in short time PPC can be helpful. While SEO is used to gain organic traffic. The time for results through SEO is not fixed but when the time is less PPC will be helpful.

The difference between Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Pay Per Click (PPC) is that traffic coming from SEO  is free while traffic generated from PPC is paid.
