What according to you better for posting and to get listed, social bookmarking or directory?
In terms of backlinks,I would prefer social bookmarking because web directory would take few times for approval while social bookmarks would give you instant approval.
According to me social bookmarking is the good techniques for posting and to get listed. Social bookmarking is useful method to organize, manage, store and search for bookmarks of online resources.
Both are in same category, social bookmark doesn't need approval, but directory submission needs approval..... they are less valued from search engines.

Social bookmarking is best way for back links and gets more traffic and it is the greatest off page activity in SEO. If you want your immediate back links are indexed fast so, you can do superiority social bookmarking in High PR sites.

hhmm... It's hard to give a direct answer. Directories are good but you have to find directory sites which approve your content,
Business listing is most good activity then others.
All link building are useful to improve website ranking but always do natural link building and never do spam or other black hat. Just focus on quality link building.
