Dofollow and  nofollow tag are both important part of SEO, but no follow gives only traffic & index pages of search engines whereas do follow tags gives you backlinks, traffic, index pages of them. For High PR for your keywords you need to focus on do follow tags.

I agree. As we do SEO to gain good business leads, traffic, and HIGH PR; DoFollow is helpful to achieve good result in Search Engine, but nofollow gives only traffic without any change in the page rank.
