Why use # tag ?
When a user adds a hashtag to their post, it's able to be indexed by the social network and becomes searchable/discoverable by other users.
A hashtag is a type of meta data tag used on social networks like Facebook,Twitter, LinkedIn. Hashtags are used to categorize content, making the discovery of new or related articles and insights easy to do. If you have used this in correct way in your post, then people will get new relevant content what they are actually looking for.

If somebody search the queries in social media tha # tags give important for the words so which words are have # tag that words are discover able so your post will reach lot of peoples.

A hashtag is a label for content. It helps others who are interested in a certain topic, quickly find content on that same topic.
When we use the hashtag on the particular word in the post then other users from that word easily search you. Or in simple word Hasgtag increase visibility of your post.

Using the @ tag signifies to someone that you're talking about them, giving them a head's up about something, and/or would like them to respond.
