Hi,
Some of my images don't have an alt text tag. As a result the image sitemap is putting something like this ...
<image:caption>Roman Blind Acorn - 8079 kilobyte</image:caption>
Is there any way to stop the file size being added?

If I recall this should work:
1)
Switch off easy mode

in Create sitemap | XML sitemap extensions | Google image sietmaps
you can uncheck
"Create image:Caption and image:title even if no alt and title attribues"
...
