An instructions for use are missing to work on a classic site (not php) in local

My first tries caused a deindexation of Google ! (2500 pages...)

Maybe a problem of / or // or \ badly placed ?
What is the good syntax?

For example, when I want to verify W3C, the address sent by A1-sitemap is http: // www.photographic-uncertainties.net/col% 5Ccherry.htm
- and not http: // www.photographic-uncertainties.net/col\ cherry.html (named 'Full adress as stored' in A1)
- While the real address is http: // www.photographic-uncertainties.net/col/cherry.html (with them / correct)

All these problems are doubtless owed to the configuration to Swim the crawl options

Switch off easy mode:

Concerning fixing slashes + convert local disk / localhost addresses to internet addresses (e.g. if you are scanning your website offline) check this help page:

Even if sitemap was somehow incorrect, it would not be able to cause deindexation of your website since search engines use sitemaps as extra means of discovery. They won't deindex you because of a problem with a sitemap.

For internet URLs you should use "/" forward slash in websites
(A1SG will try understand various errors with regards to slages, but for best compability across search engines and other tools use "/")

I have not yet taken time to read everything (always a little bit painful when we are not English)

Just 2 points:
- For the guide I do not see where is these menus - it would be those of a former(old) version ? / http://www.microsystools.com/products/sitemap-generator/help/xml-sitemap-generator-localhost/

- As regards the deindexation; in fact, it is true that there was real no deindexation on behalf of Google, but rather an  cancellation of all the links entering (correspondent in a sitelink -  it  has needed 3 months so that Google regenerates them...

- When I said that my sites are classic, I shall rather have had to say that they are static - thus address with % make no sense to me! (Not trading, I do not need of php and sql - Google indexing around 90 % my pages, what is enough for me).

Please switch of easy mode to see all options. Then you find it in "Create sitemap | URL options"

Many characters (spaces and all non-ascii) are converted into % percentage encoding per requirements (sitemaps protocol and more), please see help link for more information on why.

- I mean that Google put three months to find some 100 domains having links (2/3000 links) towards the site impacted by the sitemap bad (made from my first test with a trial version of A1)
