ROR expands on the RSS protocol with its own extensions. The standard file extension for ROR files is .ror. All search engines that understand RSS sitemap files continue to understand the RSS parts of ROR files.

Taken from this sitemaps guide (http://www.microsystools.com/products/sitemap-generator/help/website-sitemap-kinds-comparison/) article. It includes explanations and code examples of all popular sitemap file kinds :)

If you want to create ROR sitemaps, you can easily do so A1 Sitemap Generator: Just start the scan/crawl your website. Then in the "Create sitemap" tab, select ROR sitemap in the dropdown of possible sitemap file kinds that can created by A1 Sitemap Generator

ROR file is much more than site map. Because search engine crawler and search engine boat easily catch it and it describes note only about page url but also product, service , views on that page also.

Unfortunately, no major search engine supports ROR. As written in the ror/rss/xml/html sitemaps article (http://www.microsystools.com/products/sitemap-generator/help/website-sitemap-kinds-comparison/), yes, they can read the RSS part, but ROR itself is not officially supported by any of the major search engines. You can check the sitemap file kinds support on the various search engine webmaster section pages if you are unsure :)

That said, ROR in itself is a fine format. Just not supported by any major search engines as far as I can see :)
