Social Media has benefit but it has dis-advantages also. What are the dis-advantages of Social Media Optimization as compared to traffic?

As far as traffic is concerned then i think there is no any dis-advantage of using social media sites because social media sites conduct great amount of traffic and have been proven as the best source for getting instant traffic

I do not think SMO has any disadvantages related to traffic.

SMO has no disadvantage, its the best tool in getting rank and traffic.

Yet there is no disadvantage happens for me regarding SMO(social media optimization).

Its rule of nature everything have advantage and disadvantage, you can use SMO if you think advantage is more then disadvantage.

Social sites are little more timely.Keeping up with social networking can be a full time job.You have to make sure that you respond to people in a reasonable time. That is not always 100% possible.I think this is the only disadvantage of Social sites but on the other hand they are big source for targeted traffic.....
