Title: Site Communication Error (rcCommError)
Post by: SharonBurg on December 09, 2015, 05:29:24 AM
Hi,
I am checking a website that doesn't have a cache: www.tukuoro.com (http://www.tukuoro.com)
I scanned it using A1 website Analyzer and got scanning error:
Response code: -4
Response description: rcCommError (Communication Error)

Checking at microsystools website, I understand that there are 2 possible reasons for this error:
1. Webserver did not obey HTTP or HTTPS protocol.
2. The server/domain of the URL did not exist.

The website developer does not have any clue what does it means.
Can anyone direct me what to tell him to check or do?

Thanks,
Sharon.

I just ran a test using 7.0.1 with default settings simply scanning the domain http://www.tukuoro.com/ - seems to work fine for me.

1)
Does the A1 software work on other websites? Feel free to test scan http://www.microsystools.com/
If not, make sure you do not have e.g. firewalls or similar blocking the A1 software.

2)
Can you otherwise access the website from your location / IP address / computer?

3)
Please try download 7.0.1 and use the default settings

4)
If all this fails, please email your project file to info [at] microsystools.com

Thank you for the reply,
since I wrote this, I realized the website has NOINDEX in the META tag :)
I deleted it and it works fine now.
