Hi all,

What is KML? Can someone specifics difference between KML and XML and what is the advantage of KML? Is KML file effects on local Google (Google place) ranking?

Keyhole Markup Language (KML) is an XML-based language for managing the display of geospatial data. KML was initially developed for use with Google Earth.

KML stands for keyhole mark-up language that is used to describing geographic data such as Google earth, Google maps, Adobe Photoshop, AutoCAD and etc. We can create polygons, images, paths, network links and so on.

Keyhole markup language (KML) is displaying geographical data in browser. You can use Google earth, Google maps; Google places find your way or any places. KML used tag arrangement and attributes. All tags must be shown correct place with the help of KML reference.
