Title: 5 Poor Web Design Mistakes should be avoided
Post by: AllenSantiago on February 14, 2012, 02:27:52 AM
1.   Poor downloading speed of the website. Your website should download fast.
2.   Poor webpage layout and navigational structure. It should be placed in an organized way.
3.   Poor web content with lots of grammatical mistake. The content for the webpage should be placed in a proper format; neither too big, nor too small. It can be broken down to paragraphs, with the needed bullet points and sub headings.
4.   Poor or lack of white space use on the web page.
5.   Poor selection of color which result in unpleasing to the visitor's eye.

Perfection is necessary when we develop our site. Design is main part of our site because your site represents about whole concept of your business. You can avoid complex URL structures, avoid drop down menus, avoid any "intro" like videos n anything force to read by user. Use clear and readable captcha.

At all costs, avoid the use of GIF animation. They look amateur, without any purpose of the service. It is often the novice website builders will upload it to their new website, but seriously, did not even think it's one of the first thing. Ever.

The user must know what the site is about in seconds: attention is one the most valuable currencies on the Internet. If a visitor can not figure what your site is about in a couple of seconds, he will probably just go somewhere else. Your site must communicate why I should spend my time there, and FAST!

You are right that these all are popular web designing mistakes that designers do at the time of designing but it should not. One small mistake makes your website poor, so try to minimize this kind of mistakes and make your website user-friendly and informative to attract more visitors.
