Bounce rate refers to the number of users who leaves the website without being visited webpage for few predefined seconds. These limited seconds are the time required to count the visit as one visit. If you want to reduce the bounce rate then do the following activities.
•   Make user friendly page navigation
•   Use small size image and video which helps to reduce loading time.
•   Use attractive web design.
•   Use solitary, relevant and informative content.

A bounce occurs when a web site visitor only views a single page on a website, that is, the visitor leaves a site without visiting any other pages before a specified session-timeout occurs. There is no industry standard minimum or maximum time by which a visitor must leave in order for a bounce to occur. Rather, this is determined by the session timeout of the analytics tracking software.
