Now we have lots of tools and application which make work and effort of web designer smooth and easier compare to couple of years ago. In that decade, it was necessary to have advance knowledge of HTML and CSS coding for making website and one has to code manually without use of any automatic generator.

When website first developed, it has only one method to have static website and designer have to follow fix amount of work to give a look to that website. But as web development platform and ability to represent and implement different things got introduced, we have seen subjective changes in web design technique as well.

Before couple of years, when CSS wasn['t exist, designer has to put efforts in designing each element individually. We had been using inline coding with utilization of its property and assigning custom value to its attributes. Designing website was hard and was requiring more efforts as no. of component and object grows.

Due to hard work require for designing individual element and lack of common way of giving style, introduction of CSS had brought big evaluation in web design techniques. since we have been coding  in CSS file to assign a style to common group of elements.

Now it is an era of dynamic websites which require fix design template which get used for dynamically generated page with use of CMS and use of template got into the picture. A dynamically generated page  adopt the style of predesignated template.

Furthermore use of rick media elements like videos, flash and audio has further expanded the ability of website to represent data and content. Different text effects and types of graphic like typography and info graph has further improve the efficiency of website design to represent website data. 

Now we have been looking forward to use of HTML5 and CSS3 and have been keeping an eye on new methods and changes with use of these latest component of website design.
