Title: A1 WD stuck in scan state of preparing

I've just downloaded the free version of A1 Website Download and can't get it to scan. I've tried different combinations of settings but all the same result. As soon as I press 'Start Scan' it shows a Scan State of 'Preparing' and just sits there. It will stay that way for hours. If I press 'Stop Scan' it just hangs. I have run a basic scan by just entering a path and nothing else but same result. And I have tried 3 different websites. What have I done wrong?

Hi,

Are you referring to the fully functional trial version of A1 Website Download? What version do you have, 2.1.5?

Can you give some example websites? (Just type the URLs as this board does not automatically link URLs. You can also PM me the website URLs) I will be happy to take a look ASAP! :)

Received and replied :) It appears to work for me, but my guess is that it's a firewall that silently blocks A1 Website Download. I have heard of similar issues before.
