I'm about to set up my new website and I'm glad I've stumbled upon this list http://www.webhostingsearch.com because thay have great hosting plans and reviews from users. This really helped since I'm new with this. Can someone help or tell me what else do I need to get my website up and running? Your comments will be highly appreciated. :) Thanks in advance!

Good choice of web hosts, khatie! To answer your question, you should check your site's requirements if it will fit your chosen host. Also, it's very important to read some reviews 'cos it will really help! You just did so it's a good step on setting up your website. Once you've set up everything, you're good to go! Good luck!

Currently checking the reqts now! Thanks for the help! Also, I'm wondering if which is better.. Hiring a Developer for my website or maintain it on my own? Like what I said, I'm new here but I'm continuously looking resources so it'll be easy for me.

It depends, if you don't have much time to invest in developing your website and are economically strong, you can hire a web developer. If you are economically weak then you should maintain it by your own. Nothing will be hard for you if you choose to use Wordpress. Wordpress offers thousands of free templates to install. Secondly, get a good domain name and a web hosting package to get web presence. Once your hosting account is created make sure the name servers are updated at the web host end. Once the nameservers are propagated, within 48 hours your wesbite will start functioning.

Best Luck for your new website!!!
