What is dwell time?

Dwell time is the length of time a person spends looking at a webpage after they've clicked a link on a SERP page, but before clicking back to the SERP results.

Dwell time is the amount of time a visitor spends on a web page when they clicked on a link in search results, before they turn back to the SERPs.

Actually the time a visitor spent on webpages is called Dwell time. If visiter visit your page and get back to SERP in few second. Then it is called the Bounce rate. You should increase your dwell time and decrease the bounce rate.
