« on: December 02, 2011, 09:38:42 AM »
Energy management "generally refers to the practice of energy saving businesses, homes and the community at large. This is an important field of research and business practices, as it informs and helps to preserve the environment - vital for the preservation of our environment and way of life. These processes include monitoring, control and conservation, finally, the use of energy in a home or workplace.

These methods usually start with the routine measurement of gas or electricity consumption of an office or place of work in the industry, analyzing the use of power and the estimate of the amount of reductions in energy use and waste can be do. Consumption data is done throughout the day, week and month to determine when more energy is used and how much energy is lost during downtime. Professionals in the field are adept at finding innovative solutions to reduce waste, sometimes by replacing defective equipment or demanding or improvement of the crucial elements of building construction and insulation. Successful management processes also include long-term monitoring of the effectiveness of working practices in the industry or of a building as a whole.

Energy management can also include employee awareness of the need to conserve power during their daily work practices. It takes a truly holistic approach to its qualified professionals.

It is also continuously used by energy suppliers, such as gas and electricity companies to ensure that power is generated sufficient to meet the demands of consumers. Energy Suppliers often large service areas, including entire states or countries, so that the procedures used are in a highly sophisticated level. The management of the energy used by suppliers may include the creation of new infrastructure to supply gas or electricity away from rural areas, development and use of renewable energy sources, preventing black-outs and improve the overall efficiency of the delivery methods.

This is an important practice in reducing costs to an organization, and our global supply of fossil fuels, gradually decreases, prices are steadily increasing. The application of energy management in a time work may reduce the risk of future disaster-related costs provided by a sudden lack of available energy.

Besides reducing costs, these practices are obviously important to reduce carbon emissions. Increasing pressure is being put in various industries - targeted as the major producers of carbon emissions - by governments and environmental groups to develop more sustainable working practices. A process of effective energy management is the only possible way to meet consumption reduction targets that are being placed in the industries and communities.

Energy management mainly involves better utilization of Renewable and Nonrenewable sources of energy. It helps in controlling the wastage of energy and promotes a healthy and green environment. We all as respectable citizens of this world must control our energy use and must work towards the preservation of energy.

Energy Management is just another process to consider. There are at least three factors that must be considered: 1. Economics 2. Environment 3. Regulatory Issues
